Terms & Conditions — SingleJump

Last updated: December 5, 2025

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the installation, operation, and use of the SingleJump software (“Software”) and the licensing and billing services available through account.singlejump.com (“Billing System”). By installing or using the Software, you (“Customer”, “you”) accept these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not install, access, or use the Software.

1. Nature of the Product

SingleJump is a self-hosted remote-access management system that runs entirely on infrastructure controlled by the Customer.

All backend logic, frontend components, authentication flows, access-control features, and the embedded SSH server run exclusively inside the Customer’s own server environment (“Customer Server”).

The Billing System—hosted at account.singlejump.com—is used solely for:

  • Licensing and subscription validation

  • Customer profile and billing data

  • Invoice and payment processing

  • Support communications

The Billing System does not provide remote access to Customer Servers nor interacts with devices managed through the Software.

2. Customer’s Full Responsibility for Their Server Environment

Because the Software operates entirely on infrastructure owned or controlled by the Customer, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for:

2.1. Server Security

Including, but not limited to:

  • Proper configuration of firewalls

  • Restricting access to authorized IP addresses only

  • Maintaining updated operating system packages

  • Securing SSH configurations

  • Protecting physical and administrative access to the Customer Server

2.2. User and Credential Management

You acknowledge that:

  • You create and manage all user accounts

  • You define roles and ACLs inside SingleJump

  • You grant and revoke SSH access

  • You protect the passwords and MFA methods for all users

Any actions performed by your users—intentional or accidental—are your sole responsibility.

2.3. Data Backup and Recovery

You must maintain:

  • Full backups of your SingleJump installation

  • Database backups

  • Encryption key backups (if applicable)

We cannot restore your system or recover lost or corrupted data.

3. Encryption and Loss of Administrative Credentials

The Software encrypts SSH device keys and sensitive information locally on your server in a manner that we cannot decrypt.

If you lose administrative passwords, encryption keys, or root access to your Customer Server:

You may permanently lose the ability to manage devices through SingleJump.

SingleJump cannot recover encrypted data, cannot reset your admin account, and cannot bypass encryption mechanisms.

4. Security Limitations and Vulnerabilities

The Customer acknowledges that:

  • All software—including security-focused software—can contain vulnerabilities.

  • Zero-day exploits, operating system bugs, dependency flaws, or misconfigurations may result in unauthorized access, elevated privileges, or service interruption.

  • No security system can provide absolute protection.

4.1. No Liability for Security Incidents

SingleJump shall not be responsible for:

  • Security breaches on the Customer Server

  • Unauthorized access caused by misconfiguration

  • Compromise due to weak or leaked passwords

  • Firewall misconfigurations or omissions

  • Operating system vulnerabilities

  • Credential theft or key exposure

  • Attacks against the Customer’s network, cloud provider, or hardware

  • Improper ACL configuration by the Customer

You expressly agree that all risks associated with hosting and securing the Software lie solely with you.

5. No Liability for Customer or User Actions

SingleJump shall not be liable for actions performed by:

  • Administrators created by the Customer

  • Users with legitimate or excessive permissions

  • Employees, contractors, or third parties

  • Any user accessing the SingleJump system

This includes, without limitation:

  • Accidental deletion of servers or devices

  • Execution of destructive commands

  • Granting access to unauthorized users

  • Incorrect ACLs allowing unintended access

  • Misuse of the batch command system

  • Uploading or executing harmful scripts

All user activity inside SingleJump is fully under the Customer’s control and responsibility.

6. Disclaimer of Responsibility for Device Access

The Software allows customers to:

  • Add devices

  • Store encrypted keys

  • Open SSH sessions

  • Execute commands

  • Manage remote systems

You acknowledge that:

  • You are solely responsible for actions performed on your devices

  • You understand the risks of remote access

  • You will limit permissions appropriately

  • You will monitor user activity

SingleJump does not have access to your devices, cannot see your keys, and cannot intervene in SSH sessions.

7. License, Restrictions, and Prohibited Activities

7.1. License Grant

A paid subscription grants a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on a Customer Server.

  • Bypass license validation or attempt to spoof access

Violation of this clause results in immediate termination without refund.
